As a teen, I sewed my own clothes, painted and played music a lot. That's pretty much my essence. I received a BFA in Apparel Design from RISD, worked as an assistant knitwear designer then had a temp job at Vogue that changed my life. Within the year, I landed a job as assistant to the Senior Editor at Mademoiselle where I eventually became the Accessories Editor, researching and discovering market trends. Later, I went on to become the fashion editor for KidStyle magazine, and conceptualized and executed the styling for 40 pages of editorial per issue. Now, as an established freelance stylist, I thoroughly enjoy working with art directors, clients and photographers, translating their ideas into visual reality. No matter what the image, it's never boring. It's like painting a new picture each time. Just like Polyvore.
